From A Show In Vegas of 1999
Friday night Martina came back wearing a black shiny pant/shirt outfit which was really cute, but apparently, also pretty cheaply made. When she was standing there talking to the audience she looked down at her pants and there were strings hanging off of them. She started pulling some of the strings off and commented how the pants were "cheap pieces of crap…" I was laughing for days! It was soooo funny! She also went onto say that she was afraid to pull the strings out cuz she didn’t want to give up more than what we paid for. It was really funny, if you were there you know what I mean!!!

From A Christmas Show Last Year
At one point Martina came out in a short skirt with fishnet leggings and boots, and sat down. Then she made sure to cross her legs very ladylike pointing out, "This is a family show!" LOL!

At a JOC show last year, when doing her trek into the audience, Martina stopped at this gentleman in the audience and asked how he was doing. He said, "Much better now that I see your BEAUTIFUL blue eyes!!" Martina replied, "WELL!! I know what YOU want for Christmas this year, sir!! But you're NOT going to get it!" And she smiled and laughed and moved on. I thought it a little risque, given her usual shy and demure (if that is the correct description; maybe 'ladylike' is more accurate) reputation, but Martina has never really been one to shy away from controversy. It just caught me and the rest of the audience by surprise. There was a noticeable silence after she said that, like people were in shock to hear Martina say this. Not that there's anything wrong with what she said. It just seemed to be an 'adult' kind of comment, rather than a 'family show' kind. Anyway, I thought it was kind of funny.
